From Rome, 42 years old. Photographer and Advertising Graphic Technician.
Wedding photographer; outdoor, environmental and in-studio portraits, still life and publicity portraits.
The first landscape shots, as a beginner, the passion for a number of great painters, marketing studies, the experiences in graphic advertising: my passion for photography, though, is innate, I started mastering technical equipment and decided to invest all my talent in it.
I studied at Paola Casali’s Photographic Association Prospettiva8. I started observing life in the places where I found myself, the people living it, their faces, gestures, habits, characters, moods and quirks, under a light capable of enhancing the moment. Routine permeates our entire life and yet there are things, aspects, magic moments that are lost, that nobody sees or grasps, before observing a photograph, just because they’re part of everyday life.. seizing that moment of reality, transforming a trivial detail into the element capable of capturing the viewers’ attention and which in return, offers a universal significance.
I have an empathic, curious and patient nature, which leads me to be an attentive, sensitive and professional photographer. I prefer a journalistic and street style approach.
I love knowing how to observe the light, respect timing, I think my pictures through, each one of them.
You’ll never get it if you don’t slow down my friend.
What do you mean?
I mean you’re going too fast, you’re not even looking at the pictures.
They’re all the same!
They’re all the same, but each one is different from every other. You’ve got the bright mornings and dark mornings,
you got your summer light and your autumn light, weekdays and weekends. You got the people with overcoats and galoshes and people in t-shirts and shorts. Sometimes the same people, sometimes different ones. Sometimes the different ones become the same and the same ones disappear. The earth evolves around the sun and every day, the light hits the earth at a different angle.
Slow down huh?
That’s what I recommend, you know how it is, tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. Time keeps on its petty pace.
